The London Eye is on the South Bank (i.e. across the river from Houses of Parliament, Westminster etc. There is quite a lot to see on the South Bank without going across the river so I suggest if you want to do the London Eye, it is well worth seeing the rest of the South Bank area before heading across the river on the rest of your trip
